There are many processing methods for titanium pipe fittings, many of which fall under the category of mechanical processing. The most commonly used methods include stamping, forging, rolling, rolling and expanding, drawing, bending, and combined processing. Pipe fitting processing is an organic combination of machining and metal pressure processing. Baoji Shengxin Metal Materials Co., Ltd. would like to inform you that:

Here is an example to illustrate:

Forging method: The end or a part of the pipe is punched and stretched by a swaging machine to reduce its outer diameter. Commonly used swaging machines include rotary, link rod, and roller types.

Stamping method: Use a tapered core on a punch to expand the pipe end to the required size and shape.

Rolling method: Place a core inside the tube, and use a roller to push and press on the outer circumference for round edge processing.

Rolling method: Generally, no mandrel is used, which is suitable for the inner edge of thick-walled tubes.

Bending forming method: There are three commonly used methods. One method is called stretching method, another is called stamping method, and the third is the more familiar rolling method, which involves 3-4 rollers, two fixed rollers and one adjusting roller. By adjusting the distance between the fixed rollers, the finished pipe fittings are bent. This method is widely used, and if producing spiral pipes, the curvature can be increased.

Bulging method: One method involves placing rubber inside a tube and compressing it with a punch from above, causing the tube to bulge and take shape. Another method is hydraulic bulging, where liquid is filled into the middle of the tube, and the liquid pressure bulges the tube into the desired shape. This method is commonly used in the production of corrugated tubes, for example.
